Hi everyone.
It's a new year so it's time for the annual Guardians membership drive / update. This is done, in part, to create awareness of the team for the new members of the Angel Falls group.
Those who are current members of the Guardians, please either note myself or reply to this journal if you want to continue to be a part of the team. If you want to change your role (Active, Public Reserve, Private Reserve, Support) you may do so as well. Anyone on the current roster who does not respond by 1/18/14 will be removed from the team.
If you are not a part of the Guardians, and would like to be, please contact me via the above methods with your character(s) and the role they would like.
The Active roster are the ones who are the first responders and their membership is known to the public at large.
The Public Reserve roster is the next line of defense and their membership is known to the public at large.
The Private Reserve roster is also part of the 2nd wave but their membership is not known to the public at large for various reasons.
The Support Roster are those that work behind the scenes but are not part of the fighting force.
Any new members of the Guardians will be tagged with the "Probationary" label. I don't think there are any hard and fast rules but I've always felt that the new members wouldn't be allowed to go out on solo missions under the Guardians banner for a certain period of time (say, 90 days) and would need another Guardian to accompany them (new heroes have to be evaluated, much like new employees at a workplace) until that period of time is up. I think this opens up opportunities for team ups and collaboration between writers. Again, this isn't a rule but a suggestion.
I've volunteered to keep the Guardians roster updated so if anyone ever wants to join, leave, move between Active/Support/Reserve, or any other type of maintenance regarding the team, feel free to note me directly. I'm a big fan of the Guardians concept because it offers a lot of opportunity for stories for both new and existing members to the Angel Falls group.
The only rule for membership is that no Wildcards are allowed, only Heroes. This was put into place by and that won't change going forward.

Angel fall discord server
After the announcement of the group closing its door on the 1st of November (read blog entry All Good Things...) and with talks from members of a new group being made (i heard at least two different people who mention they are working on something) , plus on a few comment i heard people being interested in a discord server for Angel Falls. Maybe this is too late but I want to contribute to the group event if its the last well see of it this month.
If a new group on Deviantart is made, you'll be guarantee ill join but in the meantime here's my contribution.

New group project, AF 2018
Hi everyone !!
I would tell you that I am about to create another AF group, in order to replace the current AF, as Teri would close it.
As she, and many of you are not against it, I propose the création of a successor group for AF.
Called AF 2018
I will only found the group, running it is too much work for one guy, as I am busy by my projects, work, university essay...
So I would rather prefer to let a group of moderators running AF, and people more in the AF game than me.
Because I think that the adventure must continue.

Friends, fellow contributors, and Administrators lend me your ears.
It is not my intent to bury this group but to keep it as is. If I read our esteemed founder correctly, it is not that the group will be deleted, nor that she wants to impose this burden (of running a group) on anyone else. Yet all I have been reading is this Grand cities obituary, and I say WHY!
We have created something that needs not whiter and dies but needs to continue. Its mission is not done, to date, there are still stories and tales untold. True I doubt we can handle any more new members to this mix, but the diversity of members, of Heroes, villains, and wildcar
